The Spanish Oak Brandy is produced in a century old winery which is located in the heart of the city of Montilla. The winery has 8.000 barrels situated at the most appropriate places for the aging of the wines. There are also several recent facilities dedicated to the wine-making and aging processes. The most outstanding place is the subterranean aging cellar “El Sotano”; it’s an example of superior architecture, unique in Montilla-Moriles area. The wines produced here are the same type as in Sherry region, but due to the terroir differences Montilla-Moriles wines have their own very special character.
